When you register for an account, submit an inquiry, or contact us, we collect: full name, email address, mobile number, grade/class, city, state, and any messages you send us. Payment information is processed securely through our payment partners and is never stored on our servers.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
When you use our platform, we automatically collect: device type, browser type, IP address, pages visited, time spent, test performance data, and clickstream data. This information helps us improve your experience and personalize your learning path.

We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyze platform usage. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
2.1 Service Delivery
Your data is primarily used to: create and manage your account, personalize your learning experience, deliver AI-adaptive test recommendations, process payments, send exam-related notifications, and provide customer support.
2.2 Communications
We may use your contact details to send: exam registration confirmations, performance reports, new course announcements, and important service updates. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email or contacting us directly.
2.3 Analytics & Improvement
Aggregated, anonymized data helps us understand how students use our platform, identify common weak areas, and continuously improve our content and AI models. This data cannot identify you personally.
3. Data Security
3.1 Technical Safeguards
BeBrilliant employs industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 for data in transit, role-based access control (RBAC), multi-factor authentication for admin accounts, and regular security audits.
3.2 Data Breach
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware, as required by applicable law, and will take immediate steps to mitigate harm.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
4.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data
BeBrilliant does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Period.
4.2 Service Providers
We share data with trusted service providers who operate under strict data processing agreements: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Razorpay/Stripe (payment processing), and email/SMS delivery providers. These providers are prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to BeBrilliant.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BeBrilliant, our users, or the public.
5. Your Rights
5.1 Access & Correction
You have the right to access, correct, or update your personal information at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at privacy@bebrilliant.in.
5.2 Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@bebrilliant.in. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to legal and contractual retention obligations.
5.3 Data Portability
You may request a copy of your personal data in a commonly used, machine-readable format. We will provide this within 30 days of your request.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Platform is designed for students aged 11 and above. Users under 13 must have verifiable parental consent to use the Platform. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. Parents may contact us at privacy@bebrilliant.in to review or request deletion of their child's information.
